Onice is a project dedicated to the retrieval of onyx. This incredibly scarce mineral has been revered since ancient times for its unique beauty and symbolism, playing a significant role in the creation of exceptional and meaningful pieces.

Mexico is one of the few countries in the world fortunate enough to have deposits of onyx, which is officially classified as a semiprecious stone. Onyx has accompanied the evolution of Mexican culture, from the creation of ceremonial vases during Prehispanic times, to its use in the decoration of churches during the colonial era. Today, it continues to inspire high-end and forward thinking design projects led by Mexico’s top designers and architects, both within the country and internationally.

As stewards and owners of these quarries, we recognize the great responsibility we carry toward both the material and the planet. We are committed to minimizing quarry waste and shaping each piece of onyx into a work of art that highlights its inherent beauty and value, while honoring its rich legacy and bringing it to homes around the world.

Carved from a single block of Yellow Onyx, the Coral collection is Onice’s most remarkable design. This spectacular piece, with coral like intricate cut outs, is a striking work of art displayed on its own. Alternatively, it can be used to chill champagne and hold plants.

This unique artist sculpture is currently available and ready for immediate delivery. 

As a result of the natural variation in stone and the artistic freedom given to master carvers, every piece is truly one of a kind.
